So. Full disclosure. My posts aren't always of my most recent thrifting finds. I basically go thrifting at least twice a month, put aside my finds and photograph them in batches. Then I take note of how much I paid, look up anything I can find and have a running list of all my finds that haven't been posted. Y'all. I have stuff I found in AUGUST I haven't posted yet. Time to go way back so I don't miss out on some of the good finds!
RBX is kind of a weird brand IMHO. I've only really ever seen it new in TJ Maxx stores but apparently Target and Amazon carry the brand too. There are a couple physical stores, but they're outlets in Philly and Long Island. Either way, I'm a sucker for track pants because I can wear them for work and they're generally really comfortable. Came across these and I had to grab them!
RBX Track Pants: Originally $78, paid $6
When I'm not wearing track pants, I'm probably wearing leggings. Always looking for fun prints that can also hide sweat. Haven't taken these out for a test run (see what I did there?) but plan on it soon!
Prana Roxanne Leggings: Originally $80, paid $7
Found these in the same shopping trip. Yay fancy print leggings!
Prana Maison Capris: Originally $70, paid $7
J. Crew hasn't been doing well the last few years. To try and stay relevant, they've started collaborating with New Balance on an athletic wear line. The athletic wear line didn't do so well, but now there is at least a sneaker collaboration! I'm surprised the athletic wear didn't last long because this hoodie is seamless with a flattering print, and just the right weight for a slightly cool day.
J.Crew x New Balance Seamless Hoodie: Originally $95, paid $4
Athleta's Chi Tanks are one of my go-tos if I see them on the rack in my size. They're lightweight and essentially their version of the Lululemon cool racerback (or CRB) tank. The straps are much shorter so they sit much better on me.
Athleta Chi Tank: Originally $39, paid $3.50
As far as go-tos, this is another one. Athleta's Fast/Fastest Track Tanks are amazing because they're so comfy, wick away sweat really well and silicone dots in the bottom so it doesn't creep up as easily while doing burpees! (That's a big deal.)
Athleta Fastest Track Tank: Originally $44, paid $5
Leggings with all the pockets?! There are no joke, 7 of them and this picture shows all of them. Five along the waistband, one on each thigh. Leggings with pockets are a must have if you run long distances.
(And side note: I can still honestly say all my Lulu pieces are from thrift shops. It takes patience, luck and being extremely picky but everything is in fantastic shape when I buy it.)
Lululemon Fast and Free 7/8 Tight: Originally $128, paid $8
Anyone have any good thrifting finds? Training for any races? I'm deep in Shamrock Dolphin Challenge training now and am getting really excited/nervous for race weekend in almost a month!
