Thrifty Thursday for August

Summer's almost over!  Yay/boo.  I love fall running, but it always means that winter isn't too far behind and that's when I start wearing as many layers as Randy in A Christmas Story.

Love a soft, lightweight hoodie.  They're so unassuming but so warm and wicks away sweat better than a $5 Old Navy Fleece pullover!  (Microfleece:  It's amazing.)  This one is a bright orange and was super hard to catch on camera.
New Balance Cold Weather Tech Hoodie:  Originally $45, paid $2.50

If you missed it, I'm in Maryland.  Crabs are part of life here.  (Along with all the Old Bay.  I don't think I've put enough of it on food until my husband says something.)  So when I found this and it fit beautifully, I had to buy it!
Crown & Ivy Peasant Top:  Originally $59.50, paid $7.

My thighs eat most shorts for breakfast.  It's always been that way for me.  So when I found these with a long short liner, I was sold (even though they're definitely Men's shorts.)
Patagonia Men's Nine Trails Shorts (8''):  Originally $65, paid $5

Athleta's casual wear is always amazing.  When I found this skirt with shorts underneath and a pocket in the side, I was sold.
Athleta Sweet Sport Skort:  Originally $59, paid $3

I sweat, therefore I can't wear a lot of fun colored leggings without looking like I peed myself.  So when I found these I was very excited because it's fun but also slimming because the fun pattern is along the sides instead of all over.
Athleta High Rise Bloom Chaturanga Tight:  Originally $79, paid $5

So that's it for this month's thrifting finds!  Is anyone else excited for fall?  Any fun races this month?  Or thrifting finds?  Leave a comment below!
